What Does Deletion Mean?
By deleting your account, you instruct Nkwado Technologies Limited ("Nkwado") to permanently remove your personal identifying information from our active user databases. This action fulfills your right to data erasure under applicable privacy laws.
Please be aware that due to our operational needs—specifically managing ongoing logistics, financial transactions, and regulatory compliance (e.g., dispute resolution)—some non-personal or necessary data may be retained for a limited period (up to 60 days) after the account deletion request is processed.
Note: Deletion requests are automatically processed only if the account has no active, pending transactions. If your account is involved in an active transaction or ongoing order, you must contact our support team to manually finalize and authorize the deletion process.
How To Delete Your Account
📱 For Mobile App Users (Recommended Method)
- Access Settings: Open the Nkwado mobile application and navigate to your Profile.
- Find Account Settings: In the 'Account Settings' tab you'll see a button to delete account and data.
- Initiate Deletion: Select this button. You will be required to confirm this action, typically by entering one time passwords sent to your registered email or number for security.
- Confirmation: Upon successful initiation, we will send a final confirmation email detailing that the deletion process has begun and outlining any necessary data retention periods.
🌐 For Web Platform Users or Complex Cases (Support Request)
If you are unable to find the deletion option in the app, or if your account is currently involved in an active transaction or dispute, please use our support channel:
- Contact Us: Send a formal request email directly to support@nkwado.com.
- Provide Verification: In the subject line and body of your email, clearly state "Account Deletion Request," and include the full email address associated with your Nkwado account for verification purposes.
- Review Period: Our team will verify all outstanding issues before initiating deletion. We aim to provide a substantive response regarding your request within 48 hours.
